Curriculum
KG Section (LKG&UKG)
Children of Kinder Garden are brought to the world of letters gradually through meticulous stages to keep away the monotony and boredom of learning and to make it palatable for them. Play way method is used here and children spend most of the time outside the class room. Special gardens and play materials are arranged exclusively for this purpose. Text books prepared by Ideal Association for Minority Education (IAME) are used in KG section. Development of the following areas is mainly aimed at this stage:
- Motor skill
- Eye Hand coordination
Alphabets, shapes and figures, numbers, simple words and sentences, rhymes, etc are taught in this stage. In addition to this children learn table etiquettes, manners of behavior, morals, etc. Activities include:
- Clay Modelling
- Sorting Seeds and Leaves
- Paper Crumbling
- Collage Work
- Colouring etc.
Primary Section (I-V) (sub 2)
Students get ample opportunity to bring out their latent talents in this stage. Basic mathematics, environmental science, English, Malayalam, Hindi, arts and craft are taught in this stage.
Secondary Section (VI-X)
Syllabus prescribed by NCERT is strictly followed in this stage.
MORAL STUDIES:
It based on the syllabus prepared specially for English Medium schools in Kerala by Samastha Kerala Sunni Vidyabhasa board is provided for the students.
